Optical coherence tomography is potentially a powerful tool for detecting and monitoring a variety of macular diseases, including macular edema, macular holes, and detachments of the neurosensory retina and pigment epithelium. This Atlas divided into 32 chapters for ease of comprehension, provide with brief case summaries, fundus photographs, fluorescein angiography and the OCT images and the follow-up images for most of the patients. Added a new chapter on multimodal imaging as this imaging modality is becoming quite popular in the recent times. Contributed all the fundus photographs and fundus fluorescein angiograms used in this edition. Moreover, time domain machine would continue to provide useful morphological information to the clinicians and will continue to play important role in the day-to-day management of patients with macular pathology. Keeping in view their requirements, the author retained many of the Stratus™ OCT scans from the previous editions wherein that SD OCT does not offer any greater advantage over the Stratus™ OCT scans.
