The book begins with Section on fundamentals of corneal refractive surgery, including the preoperative evaluation (incorporating the newest imaging technologies), PRK, PTK, LASIK, Epi-LASIK and femtosecond laser surgery. Also includes new technologies of Presby LASIK and collagen cross linking. Section two covers complications of corneal refractive surgery including the management of DLK, epithelial ingrowth, ectasia and trauma. Section three concentrates on lenticular surgery going into the details of refractive lensectomy with accommodating and multifocal IOLs, the variety of phakic IOLs and piggybacking IOLs for high hyperopia. The fourth and final sections discuss recent advances in refractive surgery.
